In 1996, co-founded Cytomyx in Cambridge, UK which was built into a leading automated ion channel electrophysiology screening and profiling services for safety & selectivity of new drugs for the the pharmaceutical industry. Developed one of the most comprehensive portfolio of fully characterized recombinant ion channel cell lines available in the market. Validation was carried out using automated patch clamp instruments. Increased the ion channel cell line portfolio from 3 to 40 in 3 years. Collaborated with GSK to co-develop some of the more challenging cell lines.In 2001 successful IPO listing of the company on the London Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and became a Member of the Executive Board.
