I am currently working as a Graduate Process Engineer at LTi Metaltech with an educational background of a Manufacturing Engineering degree (BEng) and a postgraduate degree in Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing (MSc). Over my bachelors and post-graduate programmes and my year in the industry (SOCAR-KBR LLC.) I have had the opportunity to learn, develop and practice computer aided design extensively (3D modelling, FEA and CFD) using different software (SOLIDWORKS, Siemens NX and AutoCAD). This has enabled me to design and manufacture many original components, even whole machines using various manufacturing techniques. These manufacturing techniques include traditional methods such as lathe, milling and CNC machines and more modern and futuristic technology such as 3D printing and other additive manufacturing methods (powder bed fusion, VAT photopolymerisation, etc). Being directly involved in such projects has allowed me to learn responsibility, team work, communication, efficiency and management.Additionally, I have great experience in preparing and delivering various presentations to large audiences (including health and safety presentations), writing of technical reports, creation of data sheets, data entry, lean management and advanced research.
