I have been working as Audit Manager at Ak Asset Management since November 2023. I collaborate with other organizational units to ensure that the Audit Committee and Board of Directors are fully informed about the efficiency of the company's complex operations, the level of compliance with legal regulations, and whether reporting is complete and accurate; I generate recommendations that add value to the organization and protect it from potential risks and present them to top management. I began my career as an Assistant Auditor (Credit Audit & Review) at Akbank in 2009, and my scope of work has extended throughout the years due to the positions I have held, and I have substantial audit expertise and knowledge. I have a detailed professional portfolio thanks to my international certifications (CRMA, CIA, CFE) and command of the legislation covered by these certificates, in addition to the process, department, and governance audit, credit risk and analysis, and fraud expertise.I have 700+ hours of in-house training experience, including 600+ hours preparing and training new auditors as well as other auditors' periodic training events (6, 9, 18, and 36 months) and 100+ hours training bank managers on risk management, current risks, and adversities. During distinct periods, I contributed my knowledge and experience by providing intermediate-level management to 150 Auditors and mentoring 30 young "Assistant Auditors" who had not completed their two-year tenure. I was a member of teams/projects that fulfilled the shifting audit and consultancy demands while working on Akbank's substantial technological transition. I worked as a "Team Supervisor" in the department/subsidiary and process audit team between March 2022 and November 2023. During this period, the effectiveness of 54 internal committees was assessed, and ineffective practices were reassessed. With the international banking department audit, I have expanded my professional knowledge and expertise in areas like Compliance, Terrorist Financing Prevention, and Anti-Money Laundering.
