I was responsible for planning and executing audit procedures, evaluating internal controls, testing transactions, and analyzing financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. I developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients and audit teams.Taxation: As part of my articleship, I was involved in various tax-related assignments, including income tax return preparation, tax planning and advisory, and handling tax audits and assessments. I acquired a deep understanding of direct and indirect tax laws, and developed the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and apply them to client scenarios.Financial Reporting: During my articleship, I was responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. I learned how to apply relevant accounting standards and principles, and developed the skills to identify and address any discrepancies or irregularities in financial reporting. I also gained experience in financial analysis, ratio calculation, and interpretation to provide meaningful insights to clients.Accounting:Throughout my articleship, I was involved in a wide range of accounting tasks, such as maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. I developed a strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and best practices, and learned to use Tally ERP, Sarala and real book accounting software and tools to streamline the accounting process.This experience during my articleship as a chartered accountant has equipped me with a comprehensive set of skills and knowledge in the areas of statutory audit, taxation, financial reporting, and accounting.
