About Stephanie Su, Phd
System engineer and data scientist at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, supporting projects across operational analysis, system engineering, and system verifications.Previous PhD studies was on the KOTO experiment in Japan - a particle physics experiment studying rare particle decay. My effort was on the development of the data acquisition system (DAQ) for the KOTO experiment, spanning from firmware development, hardware configurations, software parallel data processing, to the integration of the entire system. Apart from system integration, I am also endeavored to the data analysis, using Monte Carlo data samples to categorize data and and perform background evaluation.
