I am currently the Chief Scientific Officer of Plan-S Satellite and Space Technologies and INFINIA Engineering and Director for Science Communication at the Middle East Technical University. For the past 18 years, I have worked as an observational astrophysicist, which made me deal with a substantial amount of data from different telescopes. I have extensive experience reducing and exploiting large and messy data sets to produce actionable insights. I have a lot of experience in developing pipelines for delivering publishable quality results, particularly from raw spectroscopic telescope data of the Herschel Space Observatory and ground-based telescopes. My scientific expertise grew in interdisciplinary environments in different countries and institutions. I have a strong physics, mathematics, programming, analysis, presentation, and communication background.
