I am currently a Senior Research Assistant for the PEDL (Programme to Enhance Digital Literacy) at TU Dublin. In this role, I contribute to advancing research focused on improving digital literacy, collaborating with a dedicated team to analyze resources, identify gaps, and support the creation of impactful educational materials. I’m passionate about leveraging research to make a meaningful difference in the digital education landscape.

As part of the role of School Placement Tutor within the School of Education, I was required to:- Liaising with students, school principals, co-operating teachers, fellow tutors and the school placement team.- Grade and complete all documentation to the highest stand.- Examine students in subjects: English, Business, Mathematics, Music, Technology, Coding, & Science. - Have a strong knowledge of the Sulis & TUS system.- Have up to date knowledge of curricula and policy.

Over the course of a year and a half, my responsibilities as an English and History teacher extended beyond classroom teaching to encompass a wide range of school activities and student support. I designed and delivered engaging lessons, assessed and evaluated student performance, and continually updated the curriculum. Outside the classroom, I was deeply involved in extracurricular activities, organizing educational trips to historical sites and leading a Writing Club that fostered student creativity.

I was honoured to be part of the Camara Ireland team. As a Google and Microsoft Certified Educator supported schools to embed digitally enhanced teaching and learning into their daily practice.

I managed the day to day activities of the project which include reporting, communications, tracking of deliverables, organisation of project meetings, as well as coordination and liaising with external bodies.

Key responsibilities included providing mentorship, advice and guidance to students with regard to their research and practice. Also responsible for delivering reports on student progress as well as the review and grading of dissertations.

I taught English, Resource, and History to students from 1st-6th year. Every day was different from the one before in schools between 400-900 students. It was a wonderful experience, one where I developed strong relationships with both the students, parents and the staff.

I acted as a Superintendent during the Leaving Certificate Examinations of 2018. This involved a great deal of responsibility and care. I acted as a superintendent in both practical examinations, during Aural examinations and in special centres.
