In this role I collaborated with a team to design, implement, and maintain web applications and Android apps for 100 to 1000 users using React, Rust, and GraphQL. We built automation tools using technologies such as SFTP, Latex, and SMB to develop an organizational ticketing system for tracking millions of mail pieces, using Rust and MariaDB. Our projects utilized various programming languages and tools, including JavaScript, Rust, Ruby, PHP, Python, GraphQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and the Adobe Suite. I also maintained software using tools like B2, Atlassian, Buddy, and Docker. In addition, I created documentation in Confluence outlining workflows and procedures to assist in obtaining HITRUST Certification.

In this position I had two main responsibilities. I would teach lifeguard classes for potential hires during the fall, winter, and spring months. This included skills like CPR, water rescue technique, first aid, and situational awareness. I was responsible for getting my students ready to pass standardized written and skill tests for their certification. During summer months I was responsible for supervising lifeguards at various positions around the water park. This included tasks like responding to emergency signals, checking in on lifeguards’ well-being, enforcing safety standards, and managing breaks. I was also responsible for enforcing rules on guests who didn’t listen to lifeguards and for conflict resolution when issues arose.
