WIT is a home/community-based program working with youth and families in their natural community, avoiding out-of-home placements and higher levels of care to allow youth and families to become independent and self-sufficient in their home environment. WIT utilizes a Functional Behavioral Approach focusing on meeting and understanding the underlying needs of behavior; being proactive and building skills in the areas of flexibility/adaptability, frustration tolerance, communication, sensory integration, and problem solving to address complex behaviors and establishing natural and informal supports. WIT collaborates with each youth and family on an individual basis, creating service plans and goals unique to each family. WIT adheres to the Arizona 12 Principles Model and the Child and Family Team Model. My goal working in the WIT Program:Keeping youth in the community and reducing/preventing OOH placementsCreating independence and stability in the homeFinding Natural Supports to replace paid servicesReducing cost to community for higher level residential treatment facilities

Work one on one with a high behavior (non-verbal) child. Entering behavior data, Blocking any self injuries or aggressions to other people. Working with coworkers to plan a safe and affective way to react to any behaviors, Setting up a schedule for client to tell us where he wants to go and what he would like to do. Giving full attention to client knowing behaviors could happen at random time.(Named Employee of the Quarter)

File Charting, Prescriptions, rooming patient, cleaning and sanitizing rooms, Entering patient information in to data base. Prep all patient charts for doctors, Making phone calls reminding and conforming appointments for patients.
