As a very lucky 13 year cancer survivor. I have discovered I need to slow down a little and be kind to myself. The Marina is a long term project and a beautiful place to be. It's Quite inspiring. I have been privileged to experience life from a variety of angles over the years and appreciate many of us have different perspectives and priorities on life depending on our experiences. Life changing events happen to us all and most of us are unprepared for the turmoil of emotions and disruption to our lives this can bring I volunteer and work with people to help them to adjust to living life after traumatic events, (cancer, death, accidents etc )to deal with the conflicting emotions, rebuild confidence, learn to like their life and cope with the surprises and changes it brings.
