This gives children of all abilities the skills needed to read and write and helps governments meet their global education targets.Charity BallUnder the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Mr Victor Emmanuel Smith, Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Ireland, Universal Learning Solutions (ULS), Promoting Global Learning (PGL) and The Voice are pleased to present the premier “Literacy Drive Charity Ball” on Saturday, 6 February 2016 from 6.30 pm to 1am at the luxurious Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 9PY. The black-tie event is raising funds to transform literacy rates across Ghana. We are supporting the government’s determination to ensure that all children acquire the critical skill of reading and writing in their formative years. The funds will help to implement the highly effective Jolly Futures literacy programme and enable the purchase of mobile library vans for schools.
