Ensuring robust & scalable services as part of Reliability team for Partnerships.Partnerships department is composed of 300+ people in 20+ countries driving a significant share of Booking.com’s overall business. The department is responsible for all of the demand-facing B2B relationships at Booking.com with full accountability for the demand-facing B2B platform and a suite of products, business development and account management.

Working on Core infrastructure for Messaging Transport layer for internal and external communication. This include channels like emails, SMS, push notifications.

• Worked on development of microservices (built in Golang) as part of the backend for Pedl - Zoomcar's bicycle rental service (https://pedl.zoomcar.com/). These microservices enable seamless communication with devices (attached to bicycles) to enable smart lock/unlock, GPS tracking, alarming features etc.• Development and maintenance of modules for the Keyless Entry(KLE) feature of the booking flow• Worked on a dynamic alerts module to capture critical alerts triggered by the OBD device installed in cars and escalate them for immediate action or communication• Core member of the IoT team

• Built the backend APIs for a React based Fleet app to assist the on-ground fleet in micro-management ofthe inventory and bookings• Built 'Offline bookings' module to add and manage corporate bookings made on the platformthrough the offline booking flow• Worked on a Redshift exporter tool to optimally sync selective tables from MySQL to Redshift• Setup and added support for an in-memory scheduler( rufus-scheduler ) for the Rails backend• Worked on several modules and fixes as part of the Offline Experience team

This internship was pursued as part of my Bachelor's Thesis. The task involved development of a new 'Export to Latex' functionality for SNOOPY, a software tool to design and animate hierarchical graphs, among others Petri nets. This feature facilitated export of designed petri nets to detailed scientific PDF reports. The 3-month internship involved designing a mobile application, work on documentation and related work as part of development of a strong Outreach program for the WIKIDATA project, a recent project of Wikimedia Foundation. The internship is a part of Gnome's Outreach Program for Women (OPW) 2014.
