Kingman Regional Medical Center is the largest healthcare provider in northwest Arizona and the only remaining non-profit hospital in Mohave County, Arizona. As a level 2 trauma 235-bed multi-campus healthcare system with 32 clinics and a Hospice program, our center includes more than 1,900 employees, 270 physicians/allied health professionals, and 150 volunteers who care for the health needs of our community. As part of the pharmacy dept administration, I oversee all day-to-day operations of our Inpatient, Outpatient and Cancer Center pharmacies. We will soon add a Specialty Pharmacy to help with the growing needs of our community. I lead a team of 10 direct and 45+ (and growing) indirect reports.

Leveraging my extensive professional experience, I’m in charge of leading my pharmacy staff to fulfill thousands of weekly prescriptions. My job is to provide guidance to my customers regarding medication dosage, drug interactions, medical equipment, disease management, and potential side effects of prescription and OTC medications. Every day, I dispense and compound prescriptions while maintaining accurate patient records, dosing information, and directions for use. I also administer immunizations and consult with patients. Key Achievements:♦ Spearheaded efforts to rebuild compounding division; sourced and recruited leading talent and retrained existing team.

During my time with Walmart, I was directly responsible for managing the pharmacy. I did so using my detailed pharmacological knowledge and collaborating with physicians to best serve a large and diverse community. The role called on me to build new business and drive sales at a brand-new Walmart Neighborhood Market Pharmacy that grand opened on July 2017. I worked closely with my patients with regard to their medication dosage, drug interactions, medical equipment, disease management, and potential side effects. Key Achievements:♦ Generated 125% increase in pharmacy sales while also boosting OTC sales 132%; smashed company sales goal of 100%. ♦ Mentored, coached, and developed two pharmacy technicians who earned selection to pharmacy school.♦ Achieved #1 ranking for district online sales and Walmart app usage to fill and pickup prescriptions.

Earlier in my career, I oversaw pharmacy operations and my staff along with key areas including medication dispensing and patient counseling. It was on me to review medications for content, accuracy, and completeness of all packaging and labeling. Additionally, I triaged issues concerning patient therapy, such as duplications and non-covered or out-of-stock medications. I also served as a liaison between healthcare teams and the community to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes. Key Achievements:♦ Earned promotion to take over highest volume and only 24-Hour pharmacy in area with $7.5M+ in annual sales.♦ Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills while setting up off-site flu clinic at Houston Museum of Natural Science and training graduate interns and pharmacists; achieved Admiral Award in recognition for team building skills and managing year’s best team.♦ Hand selected to fulfill roles and responsibilities for 'Off-site Immunization Coordinator' for CVS Pharmacy in Region 59 during immunization season for 2013.♦ Consistently enhanced business development and revenue growth for pharmacy; won Paragon Award for being team leader who took most initiative to grow profitability while improving customer service.- Voted Most Profitable Pharmacy in the District in 2015, 2016 by CVS Health.

Responsibilities:♦ In addition to the active pharmacy manager role, I also fulfilled the roles/responsibilities of the 'Off-site Immunization Coordinator' for CVS Pharmacy in Region 59 during the immunization season for 2013.♦ The role encompasses the designation and coordination of off-site flu clinics between its 149 stores in this region, which ranged from Woodlands, TX to McAllen, TX♦ I was accountable for the know-how of the immunization procedures and regional budget goals.♦ I kept my team on track within budget goals through weekly conference calls, individual follow-ups and partnering across boundaries for best practices.
