With over eight years of experience as the Director of Operations at Neogen, I am driven by the mission of providing innovative and reliable solutions for food and animal safety. Neogen is a biotechnology research company , with a presence in over 100 countries and a portfolio of over 400 products.As the head of India Operations, I have developed and executed long-term operational plans that align with the company's vision and objectives. I have overseen the documentation, standardization, and optimization of all operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and ISO 17043 standards, as well as local and international regulations. I have also led and mentored a team of over 50 professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Some of my key achievements include setting up and managing three contract manufacturing units for disinfectant, securing multiple contracts with leading food and beverage companies for testing, resulting in a 100% increase in revenue and market share over five years, establishing a state-of-the-art laboratory facility, equipped with the latest technologies and instruments, enhancing the accuracy, speed, and scope of food testing services, implementing six sigma and lean methodologies, developing and launching new services, such as allergen testing, residues and additives testing, and microbiological testing, expanding the customer base and diversifying the revenue streams, and partnering with various stakeholders, such as FSSAI, government agencies, industry associations, academic institutions, and media outlets, to promote and advocate for food safety standards and best practices.
