I am currently working as a Research and Development Software Engineer at Slid, where I am responsible for researching and experimenting with new software technologies, prototyping, refining, and building high-risk features with huge potential revenue benefits. My job involves creating initial prototypes, refining them, and building them into production-ready features that our users can benefit from. I take pride in my work and am passionate about creating innovative solutions that can have a real-world impact.Some projects I have worked on at Slid- Slid Universal ExportLed the development of a universal export feature for Slid's note-taking product with high accuracy in format conversion. Improved user experience ratings and decreased export-related support requests by 75%.- Smart Live Text (SLT)As the lead developer, I prototyped and oversaw the development of an advanced real-time video transcription feature utilizing ReactJS, Node JS, AWS, and Google Cloud STT API. It become a core offering and resulted in 25% increase in premium subscriptions and established Slid as an industry leader in note-taking from videos.- AI SliddyLed the development of AI Sliddy, a chatbot that integrated the GPT model into our note-taking product. Using the Langchain library, pinecone vector DB and Open-AI's GPT API, we were able to tap into the power of large language models and enable users to chat and ask questions about the content of their notes.
