The Disability Justice Project (DJP) is a strategic partnership between the Disability Rights Fund, an international NGO funding grassroots organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) in the Global South, and journalism educator and human rights filmmaker Jody Santos and other nationally recognized media makers from Northeastern University’s School of Journalism in Boston, Massachusetts. Based on a fellowship model, newer professionals with lived experience of disability from the Global South are paired with mentors/professional journalists in the U.S. In an exchange of ideas and experiences, the fellows learn about digital storytelling from some of the best in the industry, while the mentors learn about the global disability justice movement from frontline activists – with the goal of incorporating that new understanding into their reporting for publications like The New York Times and The Guardian or for broadcasters like PBS and ABC.

Center for Good Governance and Peace (CGGAP) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal that works in the sector of peace building, good governance, conflict resolution and youth empowerment. It was founded by a group of young professionals and human rights & governance activists aspired to preventing, managing, and resolving conflict through alternative and creative means. CGGAP is also involved in research, dissemination and deliberation on Nepal's peace and development process.

Formerly known as the Ambassador’s Youth Advisory Council, the U.S. Embassy Youth Council is a group of young Nepalese under the age of 27 from all regions of Nepal and representing various backgrounds, castes, religions, professions, genders and political affiliations. The council was created by the Embassy of the United States of America to Nepal. The Ambassador’s Youth Advisory Council was initiated in 2011 by former U.S. Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Scott H. DeLisi. Youth councils are being created in U.S. embassies all over the world as a way to for the U.S. government to communicate directly with youth about the challenges they face. We aim to provide young people with a place where they can safely express their views, engage in open, constructive dialogue and explore opportunities to make positive changes in their communities.The council was established to achieve two objectives:1) To inform the U.S. Embassy about the challenges young Nepalese face and what can be done to address them, and2) To encourage participation by council members in their communities and the larger civil society.

YATRA, since its establishment, has been working for environment, culture and youth in Nepal. It welcomes youth from various geographic complexities and areas to come together and encourages them to express their creativity in exploring, appreciating and acting for the prosperity of people and society as a whole. To do so, it carries out activities led and managed by youth. By providing a platform to implement creative concepts, youth understand the importance of conservation and realize the necessity of harmonious co-existence. It encourages civic participation in conservation and helps to instill its values in the sustainable development practices. It has largely promoted grassroots solutions to youth related problems.
