Worked as a part of a team of 5 data scientists in an exploratory natural language processing (NLP) oriented data science project with Pivigo. Using several years’ business proposals and project reports provided by the client in pdf and docx formats, we delivered a predictive model for new business proposal classification and evaluation. The model automates several person-hour expensive routine tasks, and identifies technical and business-value connections of a prospective project withpreviously executed ones. Project involved Data Cleansing, Topic Modeling, Feature Engineering, Text Classification, Clustering, and Predictive Modeling using advanced BERT based models.

C/C++, Tcl, and Python based model building and data analysis - an accurate, realistic, and highly efficient simulation model for a class of proteins associated with neuro-degenerative diseases was developed. Data driven approaches like hierarchical clustering were used in the analysis of simulation data. A second project in collaboration with experimental researchers studied how some proteins can induce cell membrane curvature. Here the theory and simulation results were used to interpret experimental observations.

High-performance computing based simulations, and data analysis - large-scale molecular dynamics simulations of complex systems that mimic the cell membranes of bacteria, and humans were performed. The effect on the above due to the presence of potential drug molecules were studied. Two additional projects were completed to study the impact of salts on the structure, and dynamics of the hydrogen bond network of water.
