According to an online survey we conducted, about 65% of Nigerian youths, particularly women, do not have access to premium skill training opportunities in writing — an in-demand skill required to make them employable, thrive in the workplace and drive high income.We are a youth-led social enterprise committed to leveraging digital technology, innovation and collaboration to create sustainable, value-driven solutions to youth and female unemployment and inadequate access to quality and hands-on writing skills training.We execute impactful projects through our concrete and proven strategies. We also passionately pursue SDG 5 (Gender Equality) SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth). We are actively achieving these through our impact mission of helping young people and women gain proficient writing skills for professional development and employability by focusing on adequately equipping them for the future of work.In April 2020, we launched our online training to meet this need and close the wide writing skills gap. So far, through our training programs, we have trained over 78 young and aspiring professionals from across 5 African countries in writing, and availed them the platform and opportunity to learn from industry experts via immersive virtual masterclasses.Over the next ten years, we aim to have impacted over 500,000 young people and women across underserved, rural communities and reach remote areas in Africa by equipping them with writing skills. This is geared towards advancing our core mission of writing skills democratization and social and gender-inclusive talent development through accelerated learning models and innovative training approaches.
