CurrentSun Certified Systems Administrator (Solaris) | RedHat Certified Systems Administrator/ Engineer (RHCE) • Delivering complex day to day operations and projects for a range of government and private sector organisations with key responsibilities including performing systems installation, configuration, upgrade and administration including domain, server, network, monitoring and backups systems• Designing, developing, testing and implementing business applications that can meet fluid business needs• Providing rapid and effective support to clients across a range of hardware, software and network issues• Utilising advanced problem solving abilities to rapidly identify and resolve issues in a way that ensures minimal disruption to end users • Maintaining highly secure environments by OS hardening with monthly patching, monitoring tasks, diligently managing and controlling access levels• Ensuring the completion of necessary documentation, administrative and operational tasks including providing clear and concise status and progress reports to senior management teams• Recognised as 'Employee of the Year' in 2015 for successfully contributing to organisational revenue by: maintaining clients’ systems, backup administration and operations, troubleshooting system problems with minimal system downtime, enhancing system security by carrying out security patching, application version upgrades and hardening systems in a timely manner
