Skills for Social Entrepreneurs (SfSE) is a global program operated by the British Council and its partners. It supports organisation known as social enterprises which employ business approaches to meet social and environmental needs and make a positive impact in their communities. As an Social Enterprise Consultant, have to provide support to social enterprises with investigate, analysis and evaluate with the solution oriented result. In addition, SfSE organizes public-engagement activities and policy dialogues which promote the social enterprise model as well as social innovation, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable economic development at local, national and international levels.

Developing and Implementing Trainings- Create the organization as youth friendly space by doing workshops, regular events and others required activities As part of the ActionAid’s Youth Mobilization sub-team, the Training Coordinator has responsible for developing and implementing trainings, according to ActionAid’s “6 Step” training development guide.- Design and conduct the trainings including training of Trainer on facilitation, advanced training of trainer on teaching attitude and training design- Provide technical support to other trainers- Ensure all trainings at organization have monitoring and evaluation system- Act as office in charge when manager is in absence- Plan training calendars• Line manage 2 Officers, 2 training associates and 1 intern• Organize Youth Mobilization sub-team meetings• Coordinate with ActionAid Myanmar Youth Mobilization and Organization teams, andparticipate in ActionAid Myanmar staff events.• Support with implementing the vision of Global Platform as a youth space.• Liaison and coordination with Activista Myanmar, ActionAid’s youth networkThe role will primarily focus on 3 projects:- Adolescent Engagement Programme: a 2 year programme to develop leadership capacity of adolescent youth leaders to implement development activities for adolescents in their villages) in ActionAid’s LRP and project areas).- Activista Campaign and Youth Leadership: a programme of trainings to build the capacity of youth networks in ActionAid’s LRP and project areas.- Social Entrepreneurship: development of a pilot series of trainings in partnership with AAM programme teamAlso as a member of the GP training team, the training coordinator have to contribute to other trainings from time to time.

While projects are in the planning stages, research officer and manager work with team members to identify project goals, research methods, variables, and other test parameters. They also choose how to collect data and offer recommendations on evaluating the project. Research officers and managers often make research schedules to monitor the activities of research teams.During the research project, officers and managers usually review gathered research and analyze various sets of data. Also interpret data and start writing reports. Research officer and manager also verify that information on databases remains secure, as well as ensure that all team members complete their tasks and work cooperatively with the team.
