CurrentUrban City Solutions is an organisation specializing in delivering Outreach, Support, Training and Community Projects that advance education, confidence and positivity for young people in local communities, with a special focus on crime and gang prevention.Urban City Solutions has successfully managed to actively engage with a section of society that would have otherwise remained marginalized and disenfranchised. The sense of detachment and alienation felt by the young people we have worked with is regrettably a common feature in many urban areas throughout the UK.Our aim will be to provide an Outreach and Support service for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, which includes mentoring and support to develop their independent living skills, helping them to make positive choices and prepare them for transition to adulthood and employment.We will strive to provide the best possible outcomes for all our young people. Each young person will have a tailored support plan, aimed at them achieving the outcomes of the Government’s Every Child Matters agenda, by helping them remain healthy and safe while able to enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution to society and achieve economic independence. Our qualified and experienced staff will work with the placing authority to construct a support plan that suits young people with the most intensive needs. We will agree a programme of care that will include a programme of activities and therapy to help stabilise the young person and safeguard their welfare.We are committed to a multi-agency approach and will work closely and in partnership with health, education and the youth offending services to ensure successful outcomes for our young people. Our aim is to ensure successful reintegration into society and we will work with the young person and others to achieve this objective.
