Starting from 1997 I worked in the IT, from 2000 focused on the infrastructure and information security. Though I consider IT security as a very important field, I confess, I failed in explaining it to my wife ;-) Since June 2007 I was working on various projects as an Information Systems Architect for Technology Services unit of Hewlett-Packard, Czech Republic. My focus was on developing and delivering enterprise security solutions in information management and monitoring systems. Cybersecurity and proposed cyber security legislative is another area of my interest - from the last ethernet frame to official comments on the proposed Czech Cyber Security Act.I changed my life in 2017 where I started working for Trend Micro as Cyber Defense Researcher. Prior joining Hewlett-Packard Company, I was working in the Eurosoftware as a network and system administrator. My IT career started in 1997 at University of West Bohemia in Plzen, Czech Republic where I worked for eight years in a great team of system administrators. My main area of work there was security administrator, IT security incident handling and hostmaster for the university network. My first Bugtraq alert dates back to 1999.
