About Urban Folcker

During the last 20 years I have worked in international companies as CFO. Apart from Finance I have had other responsibilities during this period, namely IT, Controlling, Legal and some Logistic functions. Apart from developing and improving financial goals, there has also been focus on development of products/services, competences and organizational solutions.The career has been an international one, where I have gained experience and preference of working and achieving results in international environments with different cultures. Apart from working and living in Denmark I have lived and worked in Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. The international experiences have been both within the organization as well as with external partners. To achieve goals and results in an international environment is something that motivates me.I have a wide experience in lines of businesses. This includes services sale, logistics/distribution and manufacturing.My preference is to work in an environment with a certain complexity, where there is focus on building, improving and executing a strategy plan. Here I see myself as a good sparring partner to the CEO and the rest of the management using a conceptual and pragmatic approach. I feel best at home in a surrounding with visions, development, and a will to change and improve.As a leader I see myself as a good listener, which with the use of respect can inspire others to reach stipulated goals and results.My career objectives are, also in the future, to work in an environment where I can utilize and develop my skills and achieve results for an organization.
