Karuna is a Universal Tibetan Carpet Weaving Facility that prioritizes hiring persons with disabilities. A first of its kind in the carpet weaving industry, key features of the facility itself include the wheelchair-accessible weaving unit, with ramps and elevators as per ADA standards.

Helped various students with art assignments for their classes and projects that required art. Helped art students hone their life drawing skills. Provided guidance and advice to art students on post-secondary institutions and career suggestions.

Helped students with an introduction to basic theories in art and design. I created a short-term curriculum, and facilitated engaging workshops on art and design theories. Activities included drawing, brainstorming, mindmapping, thumbnailing, Principles of Design, typography, painting, and collage-art and mixed media, amongst many others.
