Prior, alongside and following, Aviv has worked in the arts sector, established, managed and organized non-profits, software solutions, film festivals and many other projects. Aviv initiated, developed, curated and produced numerous conferences, events and creative projects: from mass-audience & open-to-the-public film festivals to exclusive professional masterclasses and retreats; Art exhibits, poetry readings, dance recitals, tech meetups, science talks, cocktail receptions, opening-night parties and even stargazing events.In 2005 Aviv founded an international film festival in Tel-Aviv dedicated to science fiction and fantastic genre films, a year later he started a series of talks titled “Science & Fiction”, both have integrated into The Utopia Association & Festival operating to this day.Aviv works on projects bridging science and science fiction, tech & social activism, integrating film, media, literature, design and other artistic disciplines.
