  I have been working in the Bank of Slovenia for 20 years. Over the years, I have advanced from an apprentice to the assistant director of the Financial statistics department. As an expert (statistician) I have broad experience in the development, compilation, dissemination, analysis and presentation of different macroeconomic statistics. As a manager, I try to establish good atmosphere with motivated and committed colleagues. From 2008 I'm head of Statistical methods and technical assistance section. My section is responsible for various tasks: Government Finance Statistics for the ECB, General Economic Statistics for the ECB, Centralised Securities database, Securities, Survey on Sources of Financing of the Slovenian companies, Updating and refreshing code lists, Publishing the data, Technical support, Methodological support...) For the last two years, I’m a member of the Effective Data Management project. The goal of this project is to change the way people within the company work with data and think about the data. Scope of the project is the data model, data catalogue, data warehouse and business intelligence tools of the company.
