As a young girl facing a career choice, I was told I was an artist (maybe also because the math didn't give me any special pleasure), that I have a talent for painting, for design, for fashion. I strongly believed that I would earn my living by designing glamorous wedding dresses. After I had failed in my entrance exam to study design and not seeing myself as a German language teacher until my retirement, I decided to go into another direction: 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐝𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲, 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. During all these years I learned that I can work with people in teams, if they are motivated as I am, are not lazy and want that somebody else is working instead of them. I am very patient and 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬. They taught me 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 on my way to a common goal. I respect their time, keep them informed and hope that 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 relationship. But deep inside me there is still a small girl who is dreaming about a beautiful created wedding dress, although my world smells of steel and on bad days of burnt plastic. :)
