For the past twenty years I have been working in the manufacturing arena. I've started as a temp, worked my way up through various leadership positions into customer service, human resources, and operations management. Due to outsourcing at my previous company, I am currently working as an EHS (environmental health) laborer. As with every job I've had I take pride and joy in doing my best. I believe in employee development, continuous improvement, and going the extra mile to help my coworkers and boost my companies bottom line. I don't believe in an "us" and "them" mentality when it comes to hourly or union employees and salary or corporate employees; we are all in this together and we have to work hand-in-hand to succeed, financially and with job satisfaction, while keeping a world class reputation of excellence. This is the philosophy I'm looking for in a company.
