CurrentManages the overall health and operations of the AMA's nearly 70 Professional Chapters comprised of 12,000 plus members, ensuring volunteer leaders have the support needed to serve their local communities in alignment with the AMA's mission and visionOversees Professional Chapter operational health, with a focus on data management, improving current programs, and supporting revitalization efforts for chapters in need of additional support and guidance.Supports the planning and execution of the annual Leadership Summit and Mid-Year (Regional) Retreats to aid chapter leaders in sharpening their leadership skills and strengthening their chapter operations.Partners with internal teams and volunteers to provide guidance and develops resources for Professional Chapter leaders, including ongoing communications and developing chapter resources.Develops meaningful relationships with professional chapter community stakeholders and volunteer leaders by supporting the Professional Chapters Council (PCC), managing volunteer awards programs, and coordinating additional appreciation programs.Manages the Chapter Excellence Awards (CEA) and the Ric Sweeney Chapter Volunteer of the Year Award, including refining and maintaining awards processes, developing and distributing communications, compiling and analyzing competition submissions, and coordinating judging process and awards recognition.Coordinates PCC meetings and special activities, including coordinating accommodations and logistics, attending and contributing to the meetings, and drafting and distributing meeting notes.Coordinates and supports appreciation programs and communications in recognition of PCC and chapter volunteers.
