Work closely with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in building capacity of Parents -Teachers Associations/School Management Committee (PTAs/SMC) through training and mentorship and support advocacy awareness on education related issues including SGBV - in Torit Provide leadership both within and without the Civic Engagement Center (CEC), review activity concept notes, budgets and coordinate all activities at the CEC while actively participating in training and workshops. Closely coordinate and support the grant team and grantees, M&E, Operations, finance,human resource units of Democracy International and support to USAID Partners such asDAI/Policy Link and MSI in Partnership for Resilience and Recovery (PfRR) program andMonitoring respectively. Established four Community Resource Centres in Yei, Rubeke, Nimule and Kajokeji, wellstocked library with resourceful books Formed Community Management Committee of the Resource Centers and trained them on themanagement of the Center. Developed a sustainability plan for the Center to serve the community beyond the projectlifespan Trained community youth and adolescence groups and guided them to establish sustainableprojects Conducted several community mobilization meetings to streamline the project directiontowards sustainability. Participated in the initiation of the Forum Theatre Groups (educative drama groups) in thecommunity Resource Centers. Participated in advocacy activities with the Field Officers Directly supervised the construction of Resource Center Libraries in Yei, Nimule and Kajokeji
