Civic Engagement Center Officer

Work closely with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in building capacity of Parents -Teachers Associations/School Management Committee (PTAs/SMC) through training and mentorship and support advocacy awareness on education related issues including SGBV - in Torit Provide leadership both within and without the Civic Engagement Center (CEC), review activity concept notes, budgets and coordinate all activities at the CEC while actively participating in training and workshops. Closely coordinate and support the grant team and grantees, M&E, Operations, finance,human resource units of Democracy International and support to USAID Partners such asDAI/Policy Link and MSI in Partnership for Resilience and Recovery (PfRR) program andMonitoring respectively. Together with CSOs, coordinate community awareness events atthe CEC. Formed CEC User Committee comprising of the Civil Society Organizations and supported trainingon various fields and developed sustainability or strategic and Resource Mobilization planfor the CEC. Ensured the Center is equipped with all the required facilities that help hundreds of Youth,Women and general public in access to information and peace building among thecommunities. Represent DI in Eastern Equatoria and uphold its values
