Qualitative Analysis of Probiotic Capsules Available in India • Microbial community qualitative analysis was performed in two of the commercially available probiotic capsules.• Best possible colonies were picked from the medium and identified by means of PCR for 16S rDNA gene sequence specific using the universal primer. • The comparison of the outcome with another 16S ribosomal RNA sequences from database revealed what was the predominant bacteria in those probiotic capsules.
