• Responsibilities:Site Pre-installation checks and Inspections of mechanical vibrations, acoustics noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI).Installation, Operation, Commissioning and Customer on-site training of FEI electron microscopes and Struers sample preparation equipment.*Equipment:Electron Microscopes. ( www.fei.com )X-ray detectors. ( www.edax.com )Small, Medium and Large cutting machines. / Hot and Cold mounting machines. / Automatic/Manual grinding and polishing machines. / Electro-polishing machines. ( www.struers.com )Inspecting, Trouble shooting and deal with all Electrical, electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and IT Problems. Perform Corrective and scheduled preventive maintenances.Technical and service co-ordination with customers.Making sure that all necessary spare parts are available.Handling RFQs, Quotations and invoices for the required spare parts.Handling the role of sales technical support and technical presentations for the customers for new products, Systems upgrades and accessories.• Electron microscope Operation and Application Experiences:I’m able to support the operation and maintenance requirements of sample preparation equipments and Electron microscopes(Tungsten, Lab6 and FEG) using all Vacuum modes and conduct training classes for users.Experience of SEM sample preparation procedures (Cutting, cold and hot mounting, grinding & polishing/electro-polishing and etching).Experience of using sputter and carbon coating machines for non-conductive sample. Experience of conductive/non-conductive samples SE & BSE imaging at all voltages and spot sizes using all kind of detectors. in addition to EDAX, Bruker and Oxford EDS systems for samples x-ray analysis and elements mapping.Experience of dual beam applications.Fundamental understanding of clean room protocols and laboratory safety regulations.Experience in multi-user, multi-project environments.
