o Worked under the supervision of Dr Salman Abdul Ghafoor, and researched on Radio over Plastic Optical Fibers.o Challenges faced are addressed, along with directions laid for further researchers and system designers to improvise the current system, with the future prospects in various areas such as 5G, machine learning, C-RAN and blockchain.

o 6 weeks internship at PTCL HQ, Islamabad in Transmission dept.o Learned about optical fiber, and created a spreadsheet covering all the long-haul and subsidary fibers in Pakistan along with their details such as route, length, working fibers and whether buried or ducted.o Learned about the basics of telecom networks and its compoenents such as switches, multiplexers, transmission mediums, VoIP and wireless networks.o Created various spreadsheets covering the compliance of bid and quotations with the already given requirement by PTCL for D.G sets, optical fibers and invertors.o At the Quality Assurrance department, I learned about the tasks done by QA team i.e. CPE testing, PAT, BWM and audit.
