• Responsible to provide network infrastructure in the Cogeco hub sites for internal customers to meet business strategies and customer needs.• Project management of all Cogeco inside plant/ facilities related to network infrastructure capacity engineering projects (space. power and cooling) in accordance with planning procedures and standards• Creating and managing project feasibilities, scope, plans, budget and timelines of infrastructure capacity capital projects.• Creating Capital Expenditure Authorization (CEA) forms and tracking budget status in Oracle; as well as the project cost analysis, attending meetings and special projects.• Assisting Finance with creating fiscal capital budgets.• Liaising between internal/external stakeholders and consultants (engineering firms, Government Ministries, etc.) to ensuring project goals and approvals are obtained.• Maintaining project and asset databases; as-builts, Headend records, bill of materials, liaisons with materials vendors, and scheduling project timelines.• Contributing to the ongoing research and recommendation of new technology/products and processes related to the headend physical and network infrastructure: space, power (AC/DC), cooling, internal connectivity, network elements and demarcation points.• Facilitating and contributing to network planning and implementation group meetings.• Undertakes field visits to gather pertinent information regarding project scope and demands in order to respond to stakeholders project requirements.• Provides design information, construction packages, and assistance to Cogeco Implementation group as required.• Accountable for creating accurate reporting for Management and Stakeholders – Budgetary, CLM, Project Status/Analysis.

• Preparation of detail design of Rogers wireline IP and Transport Network infrastructure by interpreting plans, requirements and locations for delivery to implementation teams.• Interpreting Engineering Plans, technical documents and fiber splice logs to develop a breakdown of the site specific physical elements and requirements.• Designing and integration of different platform to IP network which includes, voice, video, data and management.• Preparation of Access Deal Plans using DWDM fiber network for delivering Rogers Network to Customer premises. • Preparation of schematics, floor plans, powering plans, rack elevations and cable run lists for new build and upgrade/rebuild projects. Developed project-specific installation and construction notes, bills of materials and identified associated labor tasks.• Updated Rogers’s network upgrades using SpatialNET/AutoCAD and inputting as-built information into the database.• Tracked and maintained status of different sites, upgrade requirements and resolved upgrade issues.

• Responsible for planning, designing and implementing Cisco LAN switch Network in Wireless LAN environment and Unified Communication.• Provide recommendations on strategic infrastructure plans for telecommunication platforms (Data/IP, Access, Switching, Broadband, Transport and Radio).• Planning and migration from existing TDM network to Cisco IP/MPLS network.• Design responsibilities included (High level Topology diagrams, Devices/hardware naming conventions, Layer2/3 design, IP Addressing and connectivity) to meet project timelines and budget.• Responsible for planning & design of L2 packet transport technologies i.e. Metro Ethernet services (EPL, EVPL, LAG and LACP) & redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP). • Responsible for planning and implementing data and voice communication systems using Microwave/VSAT/Fiber/Third party Network for 2G-GSM, 3G-UMTS, 4G-LTE Network rollout sites and Enterprise Network.• Responsible for incorporating new services into existing network and maintenance of LAN and WAN equipment.• Configuration of testing of Cisco POE switches and Cisco routers 2951, 3925 & 3945 for remote sites for basic connectivity verifications.• Preparation of project MOPs, network design, diagrams and configuration template for commissioning.• Coordination with project management team and all internal customers for operational support of all critical LAN/WAN and MPLS infrastructure.• Responsible for preparing low level design for Warid Metro Sites for replacing the existing SDH based transmission network with a new IP/MPLS based network using Cisco ASR903/ASR9006 devices.• Preparation of IP RAN Routing Plan TCP/IP-VLANs for Hybrid IP Network.• Designed A-bis Optimization plan on lease line and VSAT media using Cisco’s RAN-O MWR2941.• Hand-on experience on Cisco 3750 L3 switch series, Cisco 2960 X series, Juniper M320, Juniper M10i – mutli service edge router.

• Designing SDH/PDH – Point to Point Microwave Links on (Ericsson- Minilink (TN, E, HC), Huawei 600-900 & NEC access equipment.• Preparing Link Budgets for the cell sites using TLP (Tems Link Planner)• Microwave Frequency Planning for the access network ensuring no interference among the microwave routes in accordance with the formulated KPIs.• Analysis and solution of problematic MW links through performance reports. • Responsible of performing Technical Site Surveys/LOS, includes LOS reports supported by Telecom rigger/technicians.• Preparing Capacity plan (MUX) and TXN Network Diagrams in Visio for the network.• Microwave topology planning for GSM sites.• Perform remote sites survey for VSAT Satellite links as backhaul media for Warid Telecom.• Coordinate with relevant teams of site acquisition, civil and power solution teams for joint visits for technical site visits.• Coordinate with Site Sharing Teams to check possibility of network sharing.• Monitor MW link performance through NMS (Network Monitoring System) and report link performance report to superiors.
