•Led development of pivotal Go services for a greenfield web3 platform for game developerswhich processes 100K+ NFT related transactions per day.• Key contributor to design and development of the microservice architecture driving our private blockchain system. This is an event-driven system made up of many backend services written primarily in Go and Kotlin and running in Kubernetes on Google Cloud. It uses technologies but not limited to Kafka,CockroachDB, Redis, gRPC and Spring Boot.• Team lead on a time sensitive project to develop the backend of our secondary marketplace anddelivered on-time. This included deriving requirements across the organization, design andimplementation of the API/SDK, design of a real time event stream, and leading a team of five engineersincluding blockchain engineers. This enabled players to list their items for sale and buyers tosearch the inventory of available items to purchase and immediately generated important revenue.• Created a Go dev kit to abstract foundational utility code related to database, kafka, gRPC, errorhandling, testing, and logging. This was pivotal in getting our Go services off the ground and runningefficiently as well as on-boarding new devs.• Led the team in testing best practices including code coverage reports, unit testing, and end-to-endtests which spin up isolated environments per service in Docker and run meaningful and realisticscenarios. Pushed our team to raise code coverage percentage to at least 75% in all Go repositories.• Set up Grafana dashboards to monitor performance metrics and identify bottlenecks. Establishedservice specific Prometheus metrics and setup alerts based on them.

• Built user friendly software to drive a suite of public transit SaaS products. This included coordinatingGPS signals from thousands of buses for real time arrival data, building web apps for transit agencyadmins and mobile apps for riders, and writing software for signage and other transit related hardware.• Developed software/hardware products using C#, Go and JavaScript with React, gRPC, .NET Core,Akka.NET, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Kafka while maintaining older projects using other technologies.• Developing software within a microservice ecosystem by leveraging Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.• Building scalable and high throughput systems with performance minded technologies such as MQTT,BadgerDB, gRPC and Kafka. Monitoring these systems using Grafana with Prometheus to actuallyverify performance and reliability and using them to identify bottlenecks.• Tech lead on a project to aggregate bus arrival data from multiple configurable sources such asindustry standard GTFS-RT as well as transit agency specific APIs. This allowed consumers to streamreal time arrival data for any transit agencies/stops/routes in an API agnostic fashion.• Lead member on a project to create LCD screen content for transit centers (arrival time data andservice alerts) in a templated and white labeled fashion for any particular customer for any particularstop/route or combination of routes and stops. I also wrote an internal web app to allow less technicalmembers of the team to create screens quickly with a UI versus just the API.• Redesigned and modernized our dispatch support software called Sync into a React/Redux webapplication. Also developed its backing service, a user friendly REST API that offers real time updatesvia a WebSockets connection.

• Designed and developed support and automation software to assist our operations team using avariety of technologies mostly in the .NET environment including but not limited to : C#, AngularJS,MSSQL, ASP.Net, WCF, and WPF.• Led design and architecture of new software which automated a process that took up 30% ofour operation team’s workload. Duties included organization of MSSQL servers, data mining using Perl scripts to gather contact information, developing java based software tools to handle inventory and customer requests.
