One of the busiest luxury hotel’s front desk in New York City. Many of our guests are VIPs with very specific personal requirements. During my time I acted as the liaison and central hub between all departments. This required a great deal of attention to detail, ability to communicate quickly and efficiently all while juggling the daily tasks the Front desk. Working here was an invaluable lesson on how to communicate within a tight knit team to keep the hotel running smoothly 24/7 while ensuring guest have the best and most personal experience.

As a front desk agent, I am the hub of communication between all departments in the hotel as well as making sure guests needs are taken care of and they are happy. At the front desk I do a range of work from booking reservations directly with people on the phone to coordinating our Housekeeping team to make sure they clean rooms on time and in an efficient manner. My most important job however is making sure guests are taken care of whether it is their birthday and they have surprise balloons in their room to simple needs such as a toothbrush or clean towels.

My responsibilities included tending to customers needs as well as my co-workers. We worked as a team to quickly and efficiently serve our customers the best quality drinks and food!
