Management role with responsibilities for leading a staff of 6 in the Household Hazardous Waste Group that in fiscal year 2014 served over 40,000 customers through 3 Permanent Chemical Collection Centers, Mobile Collection Events, and Curbside Collection and diverted more than 2 Million pounds of material from landfill disposal. From 2010-2014 I also served as interim leader to lead and develop a staff of 4 under the Solid Waste Maintenance Operations team that in FY2013 processed 937 maintenance work orders to maintain 3 landfill sites, 9 occupied buildings, and over 5,000 acres. Responsible for Environmental, Health, and Safety Plan development. At one time, I have managed as many as two Solid Waste functional group budgets, 8 contracts and term agreements, and over 35 purchase orders across Solid Waste.

•Managed $3.8 Million Groundwater and Hazardous Waste Sampling Contract on Savannah River Site•Responsible for 4 Laboratory Support Contracts.•Responsible for budgeting, planning, invoicing, safety, and health for the 5 contracts including 19 employees.

•Managed 5 samplers and 4 technicians for sample collection, storage, and shipment of over 5,200 analytical samples each year.•Managed sampling and maintenance for over 1,400 monitoring wells on the Savannah River Site.•Participated in a pilot project to enter, review, and transfer data electronically for all sampling events to site wide database.•Reduced 25% of invoicing time by creating a Microsoft Access database for documenting sampling and maintenance activities.•Developed and Implemented a New Employee Training guide to make it easier for new employees to complete and understand the required work, training, and procedures.

•Collected Groundwater Samples for chemical and radiological analysis.•Conducted water quality tests including conductivity, pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, and alkalinity.•Extracted samples from monitoring wells, recovery wells, effluent treatment strippers and tanks, using bailers as well as variable speed, single speed, and disposable pumps.•Documented all activities related to sampling for Environmental Reports published by the Westinghouse Savannah River Company for the Savannah River Site.
