Projects:1) Model for Project PrioritizationPurpose: Excel spreadsheet tool comparing several projects for future outages to help prioritize projects.•Plots a linear f(cost) whose slope intersects (0,0). The slope is varied in order to select the most cost effective projects, while still meeting budget constraints.•Long Term Asset Management Projects continue to be deferred due to budget constraints until risk is high enough to rise “above the line.”•Tool maximizes risk reduction with our projects while meeting budget. The tool can be used for analysis of the 7 year plan as a whole and for short term analysis for jump up budget changes.•Allows reductions of risk by spending small cost toward risk reduction using compensatory actions(Mitigation or Bridging strategy).2) Fire Barrier Penetration Seal Database•Database designed in Microsoft Access.•Program(code) via Visual Basics for Applications.Objectives:•Performs 10% audit every 18 months(15 years cycle) for quality assurance.•Randomly populates 10% of the penetration seal tags from each group of each unit.•If ‘one’ seal fails, program regenerates another 10% from that group to re-audit until seal meets the passing requirements.

• Used excel extractions (EDS) to performed routine logs to keep Plant Engineers up to date on systems status• Updated and reflected changes on Piping and Instrumentation diagrams upon the installation and addition of newly installed equipment on site• Designed using Auto CAD to update the changes on P&ID’s on newly added equipment• Closed out work orders as instructed by Engineers and verified the new installation per their instruction and design• Communicated and presented onsite projects scope of work to consulting engineering firms• Created bill of materials on new projects as instructed by the planners and engineers and ultimately issued material request on the required materials and routed supervisor for approval• Set up onsite visit with engineering firm for coal testing on the mils for analysis• Generated a work order package to relocate instrument air piping to field route out of walkway after platforms installation• Updated isometric drawing for the condensate system located in water plantProjects also Incudes Designing and routing Sample Cooler to effectively cool off the chemical pot feeder vent valve using condensate line to effectively take sample and perform analysis and Collaborating with designing firm to construct Platform on the North and South side of the boiler for slag surveys, hydro lancing and explosive cleaning. 50 Days Plant Outage April 7th, 2014- May 23rd, 2014• Major equipments were overhauled and repaired including Economizer header, Preheater baskets and Precipitator• Inspections were carried out on Turbine, Generator, Boiler, Guillotine Dampers, Furnace, Mills, Id Stack and low and High Pressure Heaters• Conducted Hanger inspection all over Unit 1 to ensure the quality and condition of each hanger and prepared reports for management review• Participated in pre job briefings and daily progress meetings on the status of the equipments
