As a Management Trainee in the Supply Chain department at Abudawood Pakistan, I gained valuable experience in warehouse modeling, demand planning and inventory management. I worked on projects such as warehouse modeling to optimize space utilization for Ferrero Cold Storage facility, and built a MS Excel based Dynamic Warehouse Management System using Visual Basic for Applications to automate the whole process of inbound, storage, and outbound process for Ferrero cold storage SKUs. The system ensured that FEFO was implemented, and it reduced hours of manual counting and tagging of pallets.During my tenure as a management trainee, I developed a solid foundation in supply chain management and operations and gained hands-on experience in warehouse modeling, demand planning, and inventory management.
