This was a 10 week internship program. During this time I was able to work along side the Linux systems engineering team. From daily stand-up to weekly general project meetings I learned how to voice out my ideas and give feedback where it was needed. By the end of my internship I gained professional level expertise on many commonly used infrastructure, and cloud based services. Because a few of our assignments given were repetitive in nature, I was also able to pick up on BASH script, and learned other creative ways automate my day to day tasks. This internship was very enjoyable because for many scenarios we would have to brain storm to debug road blocks that came along the way. By going through this type of thought processes, I was able to learn the value of paying attention to detail and critical thinking.

Came in to internship program with very minimal knowledge of web development. During this time I was able to master the main components of web development: HTML, CSS, PHP, and Java-Script. Tasked with the creation of three micro web sites, I got an insight on how to make professional level UI design. This also gave me the chance to learn how companies advertise, and gain traffic on their web sites. Having worked along side the web-master, I was able to complete my internship term and take away the skill of creating, publishing, and maintaining websites from scratch.

As a part time instructor I lead several k-12 classes in various technology related courses. Cell phone application development, robotics, programing , video game modification, and 3D printing are only a small list of the courses that I had the honor of teaching. During this time period I got to interact with kids of various of ages. Each student regardless of their age would walk in to the classroom with a spark in their eyes, eager to learn about a subject of their interest. By the end of the class that spark would only grow brighter. Many students would request to stay in for a few minutes after class so they could further develop what they learned. The best feeling of all was when parents would walk in after class and tell me that all their children talked about was how "awesome" their lesson was.
