He designed the system software for spectral image acquisition on .Net (C++) and the OpenCV platform. He also has working experience with CCD and Scientific CMOS imaging sensors. He developed an Electro-Optics hardware and software technology that enables to discrimination of different chemicals using multispectral imaging. This project is funded by Procter&Gamble, UK (P&G) under the CHARIOT programme.

Postdoctoral Research Assistant
My role as a Research Scientist with Cranfield University is focused on spectral imaging. The project title is “To Develop a Technique to Monitor the Chemical Composition of Washing Powder in near Real-Time, While They Are Mixed In The Production Machines Using An Array Of Low-Cost Imaging Sensors”. The project is funded by Procter and Gamble (P&G) in the UK. Washing powder (e.g. Ariel and Fairy etc.) consists of many different chemicals and most of them appear ‘white’ in colour. It is extremely difficult to differentiate these substances and to quantify their amount in real-time in the manufacturing life-cycle. Methods such as:• Passive and Active Imaging, • Electro-Optics Design, • Target Detection Algorithm, • Spectroscopy, • Band Selection and Optimisation have been utilised during this project.
Phd Researcher
My Doctoral Research, titled “Enhanced Target Detection in CCTV Network System Using Colour Constancy”, was centered around Machine Vision algorithms for improving target recognition in non-overlapping CCTV camera network systems. The main objective of the project is to enhance target detection using various colour constancy algorithms. My research work was able to ensure a higher accuracy in target recognition by a factor of two to three compared with that using the conventional method and these findings enable me to publish one journal paper (Optical Engineering) and two conference papers.This study involves the development of: • Colour Constancy• Target Recognition in Multiple Camera CCTV• Target Detection Algorithm• Image Enhancement and • Invariant Colour Feature Algorithms
