Canada

Responsible for directly managing scope and finances for simultaneous drilling and geotechnical projects and crews on IOL and Suncor sites (IOL Grey Card Supervisor). Primary point of contact. Safety sensitive position. Field supervisor and oversight for multiple crews performing CPT projects at Suncor and IOL (Directive 85, research, structural). Working with senior clientele in tailings and mine progression on creating, and facilitating CPT, VST and sonic drilling projects. Managing and mentoring direct reportsPeople management, supervised dozens of major equipment mobilizations and crane-lifts. Ensured onsite area compliance with permit-receiving, mine driving, area authorization for engineers and operators for each project.

Performed specialized in-situ testing procedures on major Oil Sands sites in Wood Buffalo, Alberta : ensuring daily production for Down Hole Seismic, Gamma , Ball CPTu (Cone Penetrometer testing) in the field. Testing procedures were coupled with in-house Sonic and Mud Rotary drilling operations Gained competency in operations of purpose-built amphibious and land-based rigs outfitted withdrilling equipment coupled with highly specialized instrumentation for continuous measurement ofshear, pore and axial pressures. Ensured data acquisition targets were met with a team multiple teams of 3-5 operators, engineers.Hyper Spectral Imaging (HSI) analysis on core samples of interest in-situEnsured that ConeTec's safety values and SOP's met and exceeded industry standards on Suncor, IOL, Syncrude and CNRL sites (Primary areas of work).
