Building the News Feed story data model & API to support all News Feed clients – iOS, Android, www, m-site, Paper, and Facebook Home.Developing internal tools for feed diagnostics and story creation, and help drive homepage and feed server performance.

Designed and implemented scalable and maintainable production systems that help shape and manage company’s products and drive profits.Actively participate in testing in development cycle as well as testing data production, output evaluation and tuning for the best results.

Worked as a lead developer in Intelligent Transportation project, which received grant from NSF, MTA, Microsoft, and Oracle in 2011-2013. The project collects and analyzes in real-time the road network sensors data from traffic sensors, cameras, GPS units and events in Southern California.Developed several Java based software modules for traffic pattern generation, and path planning on time-dependent road networks. Implemented a framework to create a routable network dataset from OpenStreetsMap (OSM) data.

Created the FAQ System according to MVC architecture for company’s website;Designed the database table schema;Tested the App with RSpec with Selenium and Capybara. Improved user experience by using AJAX with Handlebars.Applied Devise to build the authentication solution;Used I18n and Globalize3 to translate the App and database to other language;Storied the attachments by using AWS S3 storage solution.

Developed the k-chart module of quote client to demonstrate and manipulate the stock data in diagram by using GDI+ library.Designed the verification algorithm of receiving data packs from servers.

Updated and maintain college enrollment management system, complete the oversea student module.Encrypted users’ sensitive information in the database by using encryption algorithm.Write the corresponding technical documentation.

Programed the online order taking system for the client.Implemented company’s MSN messenger robot to provide users with proper feedback by using MSNPSharp.Converted company’s database system from Microsoft Access to Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

Developed the company’s web login interface using Visual Studio 2008 and AJAX tech with features such as membership sign up, login, email authentication, password verification, password retrieval, etc.Applied MD5 algorithm to encrypt sensitive information of existing and potential users in the company's database.
