As a highly motivated and dedicated professional, I possess a strong educational foundation in communication, psychology, and event management. My academic profile is punctuated by, interalia, an Honours Degree in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science and Psychology, and a Higher Certificate in Event Management. I am quite conversant with the reality of mental wellness challenges that are on the rise in the market, in both emerging and the developed economies – and across industries. Hence, this matter remains close to my heart as a key priority I need to deliver on as part of my contribution to society. Equipped with an appetite for learning, and a commitment to maintaining high energy levels, I believe I am ready to keep up and excel in fast-paced environments. Understandably, my practical experience is constrained at this point. However, there are skills and competencies I have potential for and could further strengthen should a job opportunity come my way: problem-solving, leadership capabilities, adaptability, reliability, time management, teamwork, and collaboration. Currently, I work as a Lay Counsellor volunteer at the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG), where I continue to strengthen my skills and competencies. I am a motivated and enthusiastic professional committed to continuous self-improvement with Toastmasters International membership by strengthening significant growth in public speaking, confidence, and leadership capabilities.
