My role is to develop business, provide assurance services to the clients which majorly involves risk based assurance and agreed upon procedures to clients. The key expertise served are IFRS, Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Forecast support, Business Analysis & Sectoral Analysis.The clientele stands at a diversified portfolio of government as well as non-government clients and the key sectors served are namely: Construction, Architectural, Oil Exploration, Telecom & Networking, Health & Insurance, Shipping, Manufacturing, Armed Aviation Military Equipment & Trading.

The majority of the time was spent on External audits of various listed as well as non-listed companies (based on the GAAPs namely IGAAP, USGAAP, IFRS, as well as the requirement of the local statutory norms and involved the following roles:-Top to bottom service delivery to client i.e. Starting from planning to finalization of the financials on a timely basis;- Developing positive relationship with the client and harnessing any prospective business.- Educating and Training subordinates ( Trainees and Fresher Associates) to result in effective and efficient assignments, team building, recoveries and timely delivery.- Adhering to the globally set KPMG Audit Methodology (KAM) on assignments revolving around acceptance, re-acceptance as well as risk assessment of the clients and ensuing no compromise on the independence and integrity on the assignment.- Working on Limited Reviews, Agreed upon procedures, forensic audits, certification and SOX Compliance.- Research of industries and trends to identify prospective clients for bidding & proposals.The clientele was spread over the following sectors:Pharma, Power & Infrastructure, Construction,Trading, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Agri & food business, Outsourcing.

As a trainee under ICAI curriculum, I was more to assist seniors and managers over various assignments. As i continued with the same for 4 years, I took up major responsibilities and grew my knowledge in IGAAP, IFRS & USGAAP, Income tax and handled listed clients single handedly. I reported and reviewed to Partners at certain time and at the end of the training used to be team lead with junior staffs reporting to me.The clientele was spread over the following sectors:Pharma, Power & Infrastructure, Construction,Trading, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Agri & food business, Outsourcing, Consumer goods & NGOs.
