- Resolving day to day operational challanges by collaborating with cross fuctional teams.-As part of asset optimization framework working as Team Lead (Fixed Equipments) for Defect Elemination

Responsible for maintaining availability for spares pertaining to Mill E&I and thus facilitating towards smooth plant operation.

- Worked on project to reduce specific power consumption of milling by 5%. It resulted in a significant annual saving. Lean six sigma (DMAIC approach) methodology was practised to execute the project.

- My primary job was to provide the smooth functioning of machineries by bringing down the breakdowns and performing the maintenance related activities be it preventive maintenance or predictive maintenance.- Worked on the project to reduce specific power consumed in zinc smelting operation by 5%.

Handling the events and planning for the required resources.

Since my childhood I wanted to do something for my society and in my very first year of college I got this opportunity to be a part of Rotaract. This gave me a platform using which I could give back something to the society. We conducted various visits which included visiting old age homes, orphanages, Cheshire homes and fulfilling some of their needs. Not only this we created awareness about various diseases by conducting sessions and performing plays. Also whenever any natural calamities like Chennai flood, Kerela flood came we worked for collecting relief material from our friends & society and provided it to the affected people with the help of our college administration.

It gave me an immense opportunity to understand and learn about the day to day operations of our countries largest transport carrier. It also taught me about the role of an operations and maintenance engineers who faces a new challenge every single day and how easily they come over it.
