Starting this journey right after graduating high school, it gave me a very practical view towards various SOP's and corporate processes. This phase included the COVID pandemic, but stretched to on-site operation. My goal is to utilise my time in learning as much I can about the business world. Living in the present too.

With the help and support of the school staff, we formulated a plan to raise funds for the sole purpose of catering food to malnourished children and families.We managed to raise ₹160000, in order to build this community kitchen which would serve 2 meals everyday in three local areas within 50 kms. Many people joined this cause by providing raw materials for cooking like rice, oil, herbs, vegetables, etc.My school, Indus International, provided support in terms of cooking premises, platform for fundraising and transportation.This has been a significant eye-opening experience.

Collected around 100 pairs of shoes in a period of one month from faculty, parents and students.These varied in different sizes, designs and colours. Each pair was given to someone, and this was a truly wholesome experience. It was a step towards me realizing what I definitely want to do more. It was after this that the community kitchen project started.

Leadership day, an annual hosted by the school. That year the I Lead speeches were organized, wherein 5th to 7th grade students from the community school who have experiences that prove their extraordinary leadership give a speech in front of the entire main school. I went to the community school, and trained Pooja Mallena (7th Grade student), to give a speech on global hunger and poverty. This experience really moved me as I got familiar, and became friends with many such students who are equally as under-privileged. I went to the community school for two hours every day, for 2 weeks.Her speech on the final day was undoubtedly the best and her picture was also printed in the school magazine. I felt immense satisfaction and happiness. This was truly a delightful and important experience.

I interned at Nissan during my summer vacation. In this time-frame, I received training from various departments within the organization. I believe the training provided by this multi-national company was extremely helpful and that many skills were developed during this learning period. I interacted with customers. During the pitches I was only allowed to observe, and then later spoke to them- sharing personal insights on cars and car specifications after understanding the customer requirement and budget. I also accompanied the salesmen on a few test drives and was part of every team meeting. thereby receiving practical knowledge and significant work experience.On average I made around 60 calls to customers everyday, regarding leads and follow-up's. I also learnt to enter data on Nissan's ERP, and got better at using Microsoft Excel.
