Along with all the responsibilities held in my previous role, currently, I also lead a dynamic team responsible for developing and enhancing the backend technology that supports Field Service Executives (FSEs) at Paytm across various business channels. This entails overseeing every facet of their journey, from agent onboarding, lifecycle management, and task allocation to aggregations, extending all the way to the exit processes for FSEs within the system.Actively working with the team on integrations with multiple banks for the seamless onboarding of merchants on their ecosystem, in partnership with Paym as a payment service provider. This integration encompasses all aspects of Static and Dynamic QR mappings against VPAs as well as EDC device onboarding on respective bank channels.In my current role, I've spearheaded the architecture of a versatile Workflow Engine, offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) product under the Onboarding Engine umbrella. This engine serves as a central orchestrator for a wide array of workflows throughout the Paytm ecosystem, operating seamlessly at the scale of real-time transactions within Paytm.Concurrently, I've also designed another adaptable Review System within the same framework, catering to a variety of Maker Checker flows, including role-based reviews, round-robin assignments, and manual assignments.Continuing from the outset of my journey with Paytm, I maintain my responsibilities as the owner of the teams and projects, ensuring their ongoing success and alignment with the organization's goals.

My responsibilities extended to orchestrating end-to-end sales journeys for devices, including EDC machines and Soundboxes, across all channels within the Paytm ecosystem - whether it was through assisted, self-service, or Paytm Mall.I oversaw key components within the workflow engine, a versatile database-driven workflow engine, and played a crucial role in onboarding all business partners across our ecosystem. Within my domain, I led a substantial vertical dedicated to facilitating both guided and self-directed journeys for merchants adopting EDC Machines, SoundBoxes, Dynamic QR devices, and AppPOS solutions.I also served as the core architect and custodian of the Plan Master Management Service, a versatile plan management and retrieval service driven by database configurations. This service stored all commercial configurations that merchants could choose from during any transaction involving our payment solutions.In addition, I led the team managing the External Gateway Service, acting as a configurable link for API integrations connecting the Onboarding Engine with external entities such as Airtel, CleverTap, and ICICI Bank.Spearheaded an Asset Tracking Service to monitor the inventory of all physical assets sold by Paytm, encompassing products like FASTag, EDC Machines, SoundBoxes, and SIM cards.Developed an in-house CRM service to track sales leads generated across key business verticals.Throughout this tenure, I consistently focused on enhancing the scalability metrics of the technology within the Central Onboarding Platform.

I served as the Tech Lead for a dedicated team that undertook the ground-up construction of the Menu Service. This service, which boasted an impressive peak throughput of 500,000 requests per minute prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, played a pivotal role in managing Menu and Order workflows across multiple sectors, including Food Ordering, Zomato Market, AlcoBev Delivery, and Contactless Dining at Zomato.Our team achieved a remarkable reduction of approximately 98% in the consumer app menu API call response size. Additionally, we successfully trimmed the menu rendering time for consumer apps by 800 milliseconds, optimizing the user experience.In this role, I was also responsible for crafting a versatile integration framework, which found application across more than 200 prominent food brands and aggregator POS systems. This framework facilitated seamless integration into the Zomato ecosystem via REST APIs, enhancing efficiency across all ordering business channels.I take pride in leading a highly proficient engineering team that expedited the development of the entire Contactless Dining technology within a mere 7 weeks, from the initial idea to its market launch.Furthermore, my responsibilities included spearheading the development of several critical business components for Zomato, such as Meals for One, Healthy Meals, Scheduled Ordering, and PiggyBank (a loyalty program).In addition to my involvement in the Menu Service, I also contributed to both the merchant backend team and the online ordering backend teams, collaborating on solutions that served both consumers and merchants, thereby contributing to product features and overall business growth.

I served as a Module Lead in a Development role, overseeing projects within the AS/400 domain for our client, CVS Caremark, a prominent U.S.-based Pharmacy Benefit Manager.During my tenure, I achieved notable milestones:Cost Reduction through Automation: I successfully implemented automation tools, utilizing Excel VBA macros and AS/400 utilities, to streamline the testing and analysis phases. This led to a remarkable ~75% cost reduction for the testing phase and ~15% cost reduction for the analysis phase. These automation tools were instrumental in impact analysis, data setup, and test case execution, significantly enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Dynamic Graph Development: I also took on the challenge of developing a dynamic graph for mainframe systems. This graph had an auto-varying scale based on data retrieved from the database. This achievement was particularly noteworthy, as creating graphical projections in mainframe environments is traditionally considered extremely challenging. It added a valuable visual dimension to data representation and analysis in an otherwise data-centric domain.My role as a Module Lead allowed me to contribute significantly to both cost optimization and innovative data visualization in the AS/400 domain, ultimately benefiting our client, CVS Caremark.
