Technical Lead in AWS In-Memory Database team that owns ElastiCache and MemoryDb AWS services which manage Redis and Memcached cache clusters. I lead and launched support for ElastiCache running on Edge networks viz. Local Zones and Outposts that reduce cache access latencies to single-digit millisecond. I defined vision, disambiguated requirements, prepared designs, implemented core functionality and led multiple teams across 4 locations to deliver on this feature. Defined and rolled out automated operations flow to achieve 90% reduction in manual operations that helped 200+ engineers. Laid out vision for automated ElastiCache region build outs, implemented core frameworks, and guided 20+ engineers to lay foundation for automation. Acted as a security guardian to thoroughly review threats and mitigations for features across ElastiCache, MemoryDb, DAX, Timeseries and CloudWatch teams. I have also mentored numerous employees and contributed to hiring interviews (Java, Python, Ruby, Redis, Memcached)

Led teams of engineers to deliver multiple features for Hitachi’s mission critical compute and storage cloud. I figured out a unique way to provision Hitachi bare metal compute with Windows Server, patent US 20160373301A1 and championed a team from design to launch this support which helped Hitachi enter this new space. I also invented provisioning mechanism that completely automated storage setup, patent US 20170235512A1. I conceived and launched disaster recovery support and led many of the UX refreshes.
