Currently serving the primary role of SME ( ETL DataStage ).Supporting multiple clients on various IBM Products such as IIS DataStage ( in SME capacity ), DB2, IBM CDC, IBM IGC, IBM IIS Information Analyzer and BigSQL. The role requires driving infrastructure setup, configuration, knowledge transfer and performance tuning.Advise and guide client’s in house ETL development team on ETL design considerations, deployment, test methodologies and best practices.

Plan, Install and deploy ETL and eprting environments in stand alone and highly available configuration.DataStage and Cognos maintenance/administration. Advise and guide client’s in house ETL development team on Physical and Logical Data Model, ETL design considerations, deployment, test methodologies and best practices. Review ETL job designs to identify and remove problem areas and bottlenecks. Implement custom solution when needed to satisfy requirements not covered by ETL tool. Advise and train client’s in-house admin team on DataStage and Cognos health check, maintenance and administration post go live and system handover. Provide detailed documentation for installation, configuration, administration etc. to facilitate future upgrades. Analyze design ELT solution for new DataMarts being implemented. Performed end to end set up for IBM Infosphere Data Replication i.e Agent installation, Access Server Installation as well as Instance, Datastore, Subscription creation and maintenance.Implemented IBM Infosphere Data Replication 11.3.3.3 ( IBM CDC ) for Oracle using Manual Log shipping method for Real time updates on critical data and integrated online data with batch processed data. Facilitated implementation of IBM Infosphere Data Replication for AS/400 by advising source teams regarding Agent installation on AS/400 server, configuration related to libraries and journals to be monitored and Subscription related operations using CL programs.
